Maverick Publishing is averaging each year a half dozen new general interest Texas regional nonfiction books. Although we must be highly selective in choosing new titles, we are happy to consider fresh manuscripts. We do not consider fiction or poetry.
If you are interested in having a manuscript in our field considered for publication, please mail us an inquiry with the following information:
1. A few sentences summarizing your work and your qualifications for writing it.
2. A proposed chapter listing.
3. A sample chapter or two, typed and double spaced.
4. Sources and availability of illustrations.
5. A list of books on similar subjects and an explanation of how your book would be different.
6. Special marketing opportunities you see and how you could help in the promotion of your book.
7. Your mailing and email addresses and a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your material returned.
